A great friend of ours took us out one Sunday afternoon in October and got some shots of our family. We had a great time and she did a wonderful job. We're so glad to have some pictures of all of us together... Don't have many of those. :)

Family Pics
One of THOSE kind of Mothers...
Yes, it's true... I have become one of THOSE kinds of mothers... You know, the one that traumatizes her child just to try to get a cute picture?.... I've always thought they were sick, cruel people....
In my defense, I must mention that in reality she was only on his lap for about .02 seconds and that her Daddy is actually the one who placed her on Santa's lap..... I was merely the one snapping photos of my hysterical, frightened child....
.... And the Santa wasn't some creepy Santa at the mall or something... He was a kind, old friend of Grandma and Grandpa's who has been playing the part of Santa for 50 years or more at there house on Christmas Eve.... It's TRADITION... We HAD to do it.... :)
.... I'm feeling the guilt... Don't worry.... My poor child...

It could have been soooo bad... Sooooo many things could've gone wrong.... But they didn't.. Thank you, Lord! :) Anna was a little angel baby the whole trip... IT was WONDERFUL.
1 Year Old...
It's official... Anna is 1. We celebrated the night before she and I left for Colorado with cupcakes, decorations, presents and of course lots of singing... The kids picked out presents for her and wrapped them all by themselves... Complete with Abigail's hairbows to fancy them up a bit. :) They also decorated with impressive signs and pictures. She was hesitant at first to dig right in to her first cupcake ever.. In fact, when she finally picked it up she held it out to Scott and gave it to him!! But when she got her first bite there was no going back!! She was LOVING it! Too much, in fact.. She kept trying to shove it up to her nose and inhale it (literally!!) We were a little concerned with cupcake in the nasal canal and sinuses, so we had to hold her back.. But it was too funny!!

Zip Lining...
On Halloween we all went to Camp Good News for a party.. We had a great time. The zip line was one of the highlights of the day. Isaiah, Caleb, Abigail and Mommy ALL got to try it out! (Isaiah was a veteran zipliner, but for the other 3 it was a first time adventure.) I was so proud of them for being so brave! It made me want to be brave too!!
