90 degree Pandemonium

I saw the temp. reach 90 but it might have gotten even hotter... Every year I tell the kids, "No pool or sprinkler until it's over 80 degrees.." and sure enough, no sooner have I gotten the words out of my month we have a qualifying day... Daddy brought home a temporary"sandbox" and sand for the kids yesterday too. (a $6 dollar baby pool from Wal-Mart!) The fact that once they are all in there there is practically no room to play doesn't seem to bother them at all...

No longer a pessimist...

Scott has recently declared that I am "pessilistic." I'm just excited that he is even using HALF of the word "realistic" to describe me!!! Oh, how he's grown... heh heh.

Lake of the Lee

Ah yes... otherwise known as Lake-of-the-cheating-builder-chic-that-was-supposed-to-have-had-this-fixed-before-we-moved-in. Maybe we should just give up trying, stock it with fish and buy a boat....
They've said the re-grading guy is supposed to be here before the end of the month.... yeeeeaaaaahh.

Sweet Trouble

This kid is a riot. The other day a girl at church commented that Micah sounded like a moose. (His grunting that we like to call communication.) It occured to me that he not only sounds very much like a moose, but he acts a lot like one too... Or at least what I imagine a moose to act like.. Haven't had a lot of "meese"-exposure. Pretty sure they're not as charming and cute, though. So anyway, here's the Moose in all his sweetness... and trouble!

Overjoyed to be at the Zoo

We visited the Zoo while Daddy was in a meeting with Thrivent down in St. Louis. Somehow I forgot ALL of Caleb's clothes (except his jammies) in Metamora so he spent the day in his p.j.s and church shoes that he had worn the day before! As the picture CLEARLY shows we had a WONDERFUL time. (We actually really did!!)

Quality Time with Mommy

Abigail and I were hanging out in her room the other day and I thought that I would try to capture her graceful and demure spirit.....
